Mayakoba presents their first Masters of Food, Wine and Golf in the Riviera Maya
In June, the resort of Mayakoba is bringing together a renowned collection of culinary stars for a four-day event celebrating the best of sport, spirits and gastronomy. The event will be the first of the annual Mayakoba Masters of Food, Wine and Golf, presented by American Express.
The event is scheduled for the Riviera Maya from June 2-5, 2016, with exceptional food, wine and spirit tasting experiences as well as a two-day golf tournament at Mayakoba’s award-winning El Camaleon Golf Club.
Throughout the weekend, guests will enjoy exclusive access to a series of interactive lunches, dinners and culinary demonstrations from internationally acclaimed chefs including Richard Sandoval, Abraham Salum, Fernando Trocca, Andrew Ormsby, Felipe Donnelly, Diane DiMeo, Antonio De Livier, Paola Carosella, Maru Botana, Montse Estruch, Flavio Federico, Renzo Garibaldi and Eva Millan.
The Mayakoba Masters of Food, Wine and Golf will kick off on the morning of Thursday, June 2, with a special clinic by master golf instructor, Jim McLean, on the Greg Norman-designed El Camaleon golf course.
That evening, there will be a special party presented by Aeromexico and Delta Airlines at Rosewood Mayakoba’s outdoor Palapa that will feature culinary delights from the large array of guest chefs, winemakers, sommeliers, tequila masters and artisanal brewers.
The entire event lasts for three days where guests of the Mayakoba Masters of Food, Wine and Golf can participate in a series of exclusive dining events, grand tastings, celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, wine and spirit tastings as well as after-hour parties held throughout the resort’s three luxury hotels.
